IPPA is a Chapter of the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP). It is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the advancement of the purchasing profession through education and cooperative relationships among its members. Our membership includes purchasing professionals from federal, state, city, county, school districts, and other political subdivisions.

The Idaho Public Purchasing Association has adopted the NIGP Values and Guiding Principles of Public Procurement.

Chapter News

We are excited to roll out our Awards & Recognitions program here at IPPA this month to our members!  Robyn, our Awards Chair, has been hard at work to make this happen.  This is our first opportunity to recognize exemplary members in the Government Procurement community.  We're eager to see who you choose to honor!

Nominations are now open!  Please refer to the guidelines and nomination form on the Awards page for more information.  You should have also received an updated member roster by e-mail to help with your nominations (if you didn't get this please e-mail to get this information). 

Forms are due to the Awards Chair at by April 17, 2017

Winners will be recognized at the First Annual Regional Training and Vendor Showcase in Pendleton, Oregon on May 17-19!  They will also be announced to membership prior to the event.
